This is a follow up to yesterday's post. Need your hair to grow after loosing it? Continue reading.
NB: These remedies can be used on all hair types.
Hair Growth remedies
Onion:
Onions (Allium cepa) are widely known for their healing, antibacterial, cleansing, stimulating, and nourishing powers. Onions have a high sulfur content and contain a number of important minerals and vitamins, such as vitamins C and B6, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and germanium. Sulphur is a mineral present in every cell in our body, with its greatest concentration in hair, skin and nails. High amounts of sulphur in onions make them particularly effective in regenerating hair follicles and stimulating hair regrowth.
Onion Hair Growth Recipes
Add minced onion to your shampoo and let it sit for 15 days. After fifteen days you can shampoo away. The result will be accelerating hair growth and glacial hair sheen.
Another onion remedy: Cut a red onion in half, add four cloves of garlic and two cinnamon sticks. Put everything in a pot and bring to a boil for 15 minutes. Rinse hair with the mixture for four consecutive days.

Garlic:
Garlic is not just good for our body, but also for our hair. Garlic extract can remove and destroy harmful toxins and stimulate blood circulation, which is important to our scalp, promotes growth and prevent hair breakage and loss. The addition of garlic extract to our shampoo helps to keep hair strong, controls dry and itchy scalp, prevents breakage and hair loss, while adding significant body and shine.
Garlic Hair Growth Recipe
Add three tablespoons of chamomile to three cups of water in a pan.Bring it to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Remove from the heat, strain the chamomile tea and set aside to cool.
Mix together one tablespoon of garlic juice, one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of aloe vera gel and one egg yolk.
Massage the mixture into the scalp, put on a treatment/shower cap and wrap a towel around the head.
Leave it in for 20 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Finally, condition your hair, rinse with the tea and style as usual. Use this natural recipe treatment once a week (it depends on the condition of your hair).
Grapeseed Oil Massage:
There are many benefits of massaging your hair, including stimulating circulation of blood to your scalp, which encourages hair growth. Grapeseed oil enhances hair growth so, give your scalp a massage using this oil before bedtime.
Aloe Vera and honey:
Cut a piece of aloe vera and scrape off the gel. Mix the gel with honey, and apply it to your scalp. Leave it in your hair for 20 minutes and then rinse.
Potato water:
I need to try this one. When cooking potatoes do not throw away the water. Let it cool, and rinse your hair with it. This rinse accelerates hair growth. Cactus or aloe:
Cut some cactus or aloe leaves in small pieces and leave them in water overnight. Apply the water to the hair. Do not rinse leave it in your hair.
Energetic breakfast:
1 tablespoon of wheat germ, 1 tablespoon of brewer’s yeast, 1 tablespoon soy lecithin, 1 tablespoon honey, and one cup of yogurt. Combine all ingredients in the yogurt and eat it every day before breakfast. In one week you will see stronger and faster growing hair.
Nutrition for your hair:
1 egg, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 2 tablespoons honey.
Apply to the scalp with a vigorous massage.
Cover the head with a treatment/shower cap or towel for 30 minutes. Wash hair as usual.
Rosemary water/spritz:
A daily rinse with rosemary water will make hair grow faster. I usually do daily rosemary spritz because I don't wash my hair everyday. This is an alternative.
Coconut milk:
Use coconut milk and gently massage into your scalp. This will not only moisturize your scalp, but also hydrate your hair roots.
Deep Conditioner:
Finally start deep conditioning your hair with a homemade protein mask of honey and egg yolk. This will strengthen your hair and promote growth. Other deep conditioning ideas may be found in my deep condition love post.
