Distant Relatives

Today was a very busy day for me. Work, shopping, hair styling and Junior Gong and Nas concert. With all that was going on, I had very little time to get dressed and do a fancy hairstyle. For the first time in a long while I played it safe.

Seeing that I am in a bun mood, I decided to go with the classic updo with a bun. I jazzed it up by adding a pink flower.

I was so happy I met some of my distant relatives. Apart from the amazing show, I was happy to meet a past student from my high school (Excelsior). In the first picture we were joking which was so refreshing.

Post concert

I completed my hairstyle by wearing a khaki and brown riding leggings, gold and cream oversized tee, gold earring, flower, gold wedges (not shown in the picture) and a multicolored clutch (not shown in the picture)

Buns and Rolls

I have been getting requests for hairstyles that can be worn to Christmas parties, Christmas dinners and New Years Eve Balls. I have created this hair style by making a bun at the back and rolling the hair in small sections at the front then secure them with hair pins.

This is the close up view of the style. Very classy yet simple and quite easy to make.

I finish off the look by wearing a little black dress with a scarf worn as a belt and a pair of yellow earring. Hope this was helpful. Will try to post the video soon. Have a great Friday Divas.
