Spring Hairstyle Part Deux

On the weekend, I put my hair in twists as a protective hairstyle. I wanted to make a trendy hairstyle to complement my outfit so, I came up with the hairstyle below.  You may think that you are limited by the twists because you have locks but NO you are wrong. There are endless numbers of hairstyle you can rock. Please let me know your thoughts on the hairstyle.
Please feel free to share your pictures or videos of your trendy protective hairstyles.
This hairstyle shows how we can transform out protective hairstyles into masterpieces. I completed my hairstyle by wearing a multicolored earring and top, orange tights, orange wedges, orange belt and a orange and cream bag.
You may view the entire outfit below via youTube.
What do you think? How you wear your protective hairstyles?

Reeeeeeemix: A Chic Look

Today's hairstyle is a remix of the hairstyle "A Chic Look". One of my YouTube viewers asked for a variation to the hairstyle as she was not feeling the front portion of the style. Here's the original hairstyle.
 Remix

What do you think Barbies and Kens? Soon I'll be posting a video on YouTube for this remixed hairstyle so stay tuned.
I completed my hairstyle by wearing a vintage striped multicolored shirt with an orange belt and a pair of brownish grey earrings. I love this top with the hairstyle as it accentuates the retro look.

Keeping it Simple

As you can see I am still rocking my Du Wrap. I will be taking them down on the weekend so stay tuned to see the end results.

Last night, before going to bed I tied my hair into 2 uneven ponytails. This morning when I woke up, they loosely created the hairstyle that I am wearing. To keep my hair in place, I added a few rubber bands and hair pins.

I also added a handmade flower made from a scarf. You may add fresh flowers to your hair or any other hair accessory that you think would add the wow factor to the hairstyle yet keeping it fresh and simple.

Happy Friday Barbies and Kens and do have a great weekend.

Feathers and Cummerbund

Today's hairstyle was a request by Stacy who saw the hairstyle on my personal Facebook page and asked for this post.
Sorry if it's not the same as it is difficult to copy the hairstyle perfectly. This is as close I could get it.
I am in love with bow ties and cummerbund. For this post I've decided to use one of my scarf to make a cummerbund.  Would you wear a cummerbund? How would you wear it? When I get back from my mini vacay, I will be doing another post using a cummerbund I bought in Banana Republic a year ago.
This was how I wore my scarf turned cummerbund. I tried to deviate from the normal pants and wore a pencil skirt and a tank top.

Janelle Monae inspired updo

Source
Today's hairstyle was Janelle Monae inspired. I have always wanted to do one of her hairstyles but was never completely satisfied with how the look turned out. Here are the pictures from my attempt.

I tried not to copy the hairstyle exactly but to put my flavor to it. What do you think?
Ever since the post Shaka Zulu Pikinnies, I have been getting lots of request to post the bags from my Jungle Barbie line. Here are a few pictures of one of the bags. This one is not available for sale as it has been sold. For pricing and details please email me at synethiae@gmail.com.
I completed my hairstyle by wearing a self made shorts from a corduroy pants, white long sleeve shirt, bow headband worn as a bow tie, black belt and earrings and multicolored Jungle Barbie clutch. You can view the rest of the pictures on Jungle Barbie Facebook page.
Happy Monday and thank you for reading. Looking forward to your comments on the hairstyle.

What do you think of the hairstyle? If you were getting married, would you wear the hairstyle?
