Spring Hairstyle Part Deux

On the weekend, I put my hair in twists as a protective hairstyle. I wanted to make a trendy hairstyle to complement my outfit so, I came up with the hairstyle below.  You may think that you are limited by the twists because you have locks but NO you are wrong. There are endless numbers of hairstyle you can rock. Please let me know your thoughts on the hairstyle.
Please feel free to share your pictures or videos of your trendy protective hairstyles.
This hairstyle shows how we can transform out protective hairstyles into masterpieces. I completed my hairstyle by wearing a multicolored earring and top, orange tights, orange wedges, orange belt and a orange and cream bag.
You may view the entire outfit below via youTube.

My hair routine with a twist

On the weekend, I washed my hair and did a protective hairstyle. The hairstyle is quite simple. On freshly twisted hair, I took about 5 or so strands of locs and twisted them. To see the products I used, way I twisted my hair and this protective hairstyle, please check the video below.
Show me some love by commenting, rating and subscribing to both my blog and my youTube channel.

Here are a few pictures from the hairstyle.

Hope this was of great help. Thank you for reading.

Reeeeeeemix: A Chic Look

Today's hairstyle is a remix of the hairstyle "A Chic Look". One of my YouTube viewers asked for a variation to the hairstyle as she was not feeling the front portion of the style. Here's the original hairstyle.
 Remix

What do you think Barbies and Kens? Soon I'll be posting a video on YouTube for this remixed hairstyle so stay tuned.
I completed my hairstyle by wearing a vintage striped multicolored shirt with an orange belt and a pair of brownish grey earrings. I love this top with the hairstyle as it accentuates the retro look.

Curl Bob

It's day 5 and my curls are still very tight. I have decided to take advantage of the tight curls and created a bob hairstyle.
I am loving the length of my hair. There are ways to make your hair look shorter without cutting it. This is one of the main advantage of having locs.
Happy Friday Barbies and Kens.

I feel Good~~~~~~ From my Hair to my Toe

Today, I am feeling so great. I went to the gym the first in a long long long time. Also, this is the 4th day since I took down my wraps and my hair is still holding the curls.
I'm surprised that I still have curls and very tight ones too. Thanks to Mango and Lime Cactus oil, No more itch gro Spray and Locking Gel, I have great curls for days.
Summer is coming and I have been getting requests to do videos and or posts on eating healthy and exercise routines. Your wish have been granted and I will be dedicating one day out of the week on my blog for that so look out.
I must say that eating healthy and exercising will lead to healthier hair and skin. It's  not that difficult, all it takes is a little focus and time.
The key is to have fun and it will be easier for you to do.
Hope this great energy was passed on to you and you will be motivated to make the start.

Curls and hoops

After almost 2 weeks, I finally took my wraps down.  I am so in love with the curls that I got. Most of which are very tight so it gives my hair a puffy look.

Spring is here and I am super excited because I can shed a few layers and wear my hair out.
I completed my hairstyle, by wearing an oversized multicolored hoop and a graphic skirt worn as a dress.

Keeping it Simple

As you can see I am still rocking my Du Wrap. I will be taking them down on the weekend so stay tuned to see the end results.

Last night, before going to bed I tied my hair into 2 uneven ponytails. This morning when I woke up, they loosely created the hairstyle that I am wearing. To keep my hair in place, I added a few rubber bands and hair pins.

I also added a handmade flower made from a scarf. You may add fresh flowers to your hair or any other hair accessory that you think would add the wow factor to the hairstyle yet keeping it fresh and simple.

Happy Friday Barbies and Kens and do have a great weekend.
