Medium Prom Hairstyles

Medium Prom Hairstyles,You shouldn’t be afraid to experiment all types of curls because if you don’t like it you can simply wash your hair. The reality is that curly hair needs more attention than straight hair does. However, if you don’t have wavy or curly hair you can create your own curls. One option could be to get a perm or simply use hot curling tools.

After you created the perfect curls the next step will be to style them. The only thing you need is some styling wax and a bit of imagination. You can use a headband or several head pins to create the look you were searching for. If you would like a more chic hairdo you can do a tight French twist and you can decorate it with some hair gems.

Barbie of the Week: Monique

Meet Monique an Event Planner and fonder of M & U Entertainment in Tokyo, Japan. You can find Monique at http://www.manduentertainment.com.

Why locks?
Well to be truthful I was living in Japan and alternative hairstyles were way too expensive , so I thought, why not try this?

How long have you had locks?
3&1/2 years

What's your favorite hair product? Why?
Favorite product is definitely - Oyin's Greg juice. It's so easy on my scalp and always revives my hair. It keeps it smelling good too.

What or Who inspired you to lock?
Inspiration- can't really say. But the young lady that represented Jamaica at the Ms.World Pageant with her flowing locks made me proud.

What do you like most about locks?
I like the strength of my hair the most. I have and can do so much to it without it falling off.
From perm to locks is a beautiful and rewarding experience. Black women on a whole need to stop putting so much money in to the entrepreneurs of Koreans and other groups in the form of weaves and hair perms.
1. The process isn't necessarily healthy and
2. We need to start spending BLACK. Take that money and spend at a loctitians salon.
I'll try to explain the steps to Monique's hairstyle.

Instructions
Monique's hair is in plaits.
A portion from the front was taken out to make her bang.
Then, the back portion was woven to the top of her head with some hair from the sides left out. The woven portion was folded over to make a partial bun. The remaining hair from the sides were woven around and over the semi-bun. The hair was held in place by pins. The front portion was used to make her bang.

Ohhhh!!!! So Fancy

Today's hairstyle inspiration came from the flower I am wearing in my hair as well as my fascination with bangs.
I will try to explain how I did this hairstyle and will also give you as many pictures as possible. The reason I don't have step by step pictures for you is that I just play around with different looks until I have a style that I like.
I started by taking a small portion from the front that I will use to make my coiled bang. Then I made two rows of flat twist on either sides.
I then roll both side in a low french roll tucking the hair inside and fastening with hair pins.
To do the coiled bang, I took small portions of my hair and rolled them in coils. I fasten them in place using hair pins. I did multiple of these to give me a fuller look.
I then added the flower to my hairstyle.
This is yet another versatile hairstyle that you make rock casually or dressed up. I will show you how I played with both looks.
Casual Look
Dressed up Look
  1. For the first look I wore a pair of booty shorts,  a tank top, a pair of knee high socks, and a pair of dangling pearl earring.
  2. In the second look, I wore a high-waist pencil skirt, red jacket, blue and black top, and a single pink flower earring in my left ear.

I will add this to my list of how to hair tutorials. Hope you liked this one and remember if you have any questions please email me at synethiae@gmail.com.

Have been getting lots of requests for the video so here it goes. Please let me know if it helped.
