Hot Oil Treatment: Aye Aye Aye Aye!!!!!!!!

Over the weekend I did a hot oil treatment and have been seeing great results. My hair is radiant yet not greasy so, I'd like to share it with you.

Things you will need
Oils (I used olive oil, Castor oil  and tea tree oil)
Pot
Treatment cap
Zip lock bag
Towel

Benefits of the oils I used
Olive Oil
  • Olive oil is an effective treatment for hair loss, it also acts as a natural conditioner for the hair. In other words, applying olive oil on hair makes it shiny and soft.
  • The anti-fungal and antibacterial properties of olive oil is a great way of getting rid of the problem of dandruff.
Castor Oil
  • Castor oil promotes hair growth.  Regular application of Castor oil to your scalp and roots will help to eliminate dry hair and promote regrowth of your hair within months. It will also help to thicken hair that is thinning out.
  • Helps reduce and prevent damage.  Also can hide the appearance of damage while trying to improve your hair's health leading to thicker, fuller hair over time.
Tea Tree
  • Helps prevent dandruff.
  • Tea tree oil has a moisturizing component, which can improve the texture of dry or frizzy hair.
 Instruction
  • Place 2/3 cup of olive oil, Castor oil and tea tree oil in a resealable plastic bag and squeeze the bag to blend the ingredients.
  •    Fill the  pot with very hot water and put the plastic bag of hot oil treatment in the hot water. Leave it only until it's warm.
  • Make a small hole at one end of the bag and apply the hot oil treatment to your dry hair, working it through from the roots to the ends.
  • Put a treatment cap over your hair and cover with a warm towel.
  • Leave the hot oil treatment in the hair for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Shampoo out the hot oil treatment and condition your hair as usual. This step is optional. If you want to prevent your hair from being too oily. I didn't, I shampooed and conditioned my hair and then did the hot oil treatment.
This is my hair after the treatment.
Hope this helped. Thank you for reading and remember subscribe to follow me and leave your comments on the blog.
